The Valentine One is one of the highest performing radar detectors on the market. One reason for this is multiple radar antennas! The only other detector with two radar antennas is the Bel STi Driver, but in the STi both antennas face forward. In the Valentine One, there is one forward antenna and one rear-facing antenna. The Escort Redline one word WOW!! This unit really is one of the best. The design may not be beautiful but the beauty of the Escort Redline is all about whats inside the box. The Escort Redline is what I would like to call a performance detector made to compete with the big boys. The Escort 8500 X50 is in my personal opinion one of the best units you can buy without spending a whole heck of a lot of money. This is really one of the best units I have ever seen in its class and you really cant go wrong with this detector. The Escort 8500 X50 comes with all the bells and whistles, it picks up all the different radar bands and even has POP protection so you don’t have to worry about being protected. I really cant even express how blown away with this detector I was. This was my first radar detector and I still to this day recommend it to anybody who is looking for an affordable first radar detector. The Escort Solo S2 is really a state of the art masterpiece as far as the design of a cordless radar detector goes. The Escort Solo S2 is a completely cordless radar detector, stealthy, compact and easily portable unit. Much of the Solo S2’s design and interface is focused on power savings being it is a cordless radar detector, which, according to Escort, allows the unit to run for months under normal use on two AA batteries. The LCD backlight is only illuminated when a button is pressed, or when the unit detects a signal. In fact, the only indication we had that the unit was on at all was a single blinking red light next to the unit’s mode setting. The Escort Solo S2 is also equipped with a motion sensor that automatically powers the unit off if the vehicle has not moved for 25 minutes. The functionality and performance of this cordless radar detector is not to be underestimated though. This cordless radar detector detects on all bands and has superior range that you would expect from a name like Escort. The Escort Solo S2 comes out of the box with the Escort SOLO S2 Cordless Radar Detector and Laser Detector unit, the Owner’s Manual, an adjustable quick-release windshield mount, a travel case, and a set of AA batteries. The Bel STI Driver is a dash unit I would call a premium unit. It has superior range and extreme durability, but it does not come cheap, or course as I always say you get what you pay for. The Bel STI Driver has a whopping price tag of almost 500 dollars but it is worth every penny of it if you want state of the art protection. When it comes to your driving record you wouldn’t want substandard equipment would you? The Bel STI Driver comes in the package with a carrying case, external speaker, coiled Smart cord, a direct Smart cord, and a quick release windshield mounting bracket.

If you are ready for instant protection against all forms of police radar then the Beltronics Professional Series RX-65 is for you. The RX-65 offers superior range and is extremely sensitive to radar. Its control figuration is also on par so it allows you to control the alerts right at your fingertips with the smart power cord. Customers from Amazon.com reported nothing but good reviews about the unit. The only complaints I have seen with this unit is its not as good as the Valentine 1 but there is really no comparison between that. If your looking for a good detector at a reasonable price this is the way to go!

The Beltronics Vector 995 or V995 is one of the best units you can buy on a budget. It is a one of a kind detector and its performance is top notch for its class. Its range is not as good as some of the other premium dash units by bel but for a midrange detector it really holds its on. The Bel V995 detects full X, K, SuperWide Ka, Ku, laser and POP which is a fairly new technology and hasn’t been around a long time. Features of the Bel V995 include audible and visual band alerts, and all the performance you’d expect from Beltronics. Digital signal processing (DSP) technology and multiple laser sensors give you long-range performance, and greatly reduce the number of false alarms. On top of that, the Vector 995 is invisible to VG-2 radar detector detectors, keeping you one step ahead. It also features Highway/City sensitivity settings to tailor performance to your needs. The Bel V995 comes out of the package with the Beltronics V995 Vector Radar/laser Detector unit, carrying case, coiled power cord, quick release windshield mount, and the owner’s manual.
